Routine maintenance is the key to maintain the integrity of your floor.  These simple steps will help protect your investment and to assure the lasting satisfaction with the performance of the floor. 

 
 

Daily

Floor stains can be avoided by wiping spillage from the surface immediately.  Shoe marks can be removed with an appropriate floor cleaner.  In addition, incorporating daily sweeping with a properly treated dust mop will keep the floor surface free from dust and particles. 

 

Monthly

During heavy traffic seasons the use of an auto scrubber with a white pad is highly encouraged.

– Midwest Floor Specialist recommends that your floor is screened and recoated with a new coat of finish at least once a year.
– Sanding should happen every 10-15 years or anytime your floor is damaged and needs repaired.
